MESSAGE FROM CHIEF EXECUTIVE, JANINE KIRK AM

Welcome to our second newsletter for 2017. I am pleased to announce that two projects have been successfully executed; the Patrons program in London was a great success and we have said farewell to Aaron McNeilly and welcome two new staff members, Jasmine Cooper Sutton and Zoie Carroll.

The Get Into pilot program in partnership with S.Y.C. concluded on the 30th of June with a total of 54 young Australians graduating with sector specific skills and work experience opportunities to help them gain employment.

The second project, delivered in partnership with R.M.I.T. University is the Prince’s Lead Your Own Business program. P.L.Y.O.B is P.C.A.’s largest project of the year and third year delivering the program; which saw 23 transitioning defence members complete their residential week in Melbourne before commencing 12-18 months of study to graduate with a certificate IV in Small Business Management.

It is immensely rewarding to see our existing projects continue to develop, including The Prince’s Terrace in Bowden, Adelaide, the InterPAR invention in partnership with Phoenix Australia and the Low Glow Community – Bundaberg in partnership with Greenfleet Australia and Disney.

Please enjoy our updates for the quarter.

If you like to stay in touch with us a little more frequently than our newsletter may I encourage you to find us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
