Tony Beddison AC is the Chairman of The Beddison Group which includes H.O.B.A.N. Recruitment, Clicks I.T. Recruitment, I.N.D.E.X. Consultants and H.O.B.A.N. Outsourced Solutions.
Besides his business activities, Tony was the Founding Chairman of The Prince’s Charities Australia between 2013 – 2016. From 2004 to 2013 he was the Chairman of the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, a Director of the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and a Director of the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation. He is currently a Director of the Australian War Memorial Anzac Foundation.
He was also previously the Chairman of the 2007 F.I.N.A. World Swimming Championships, the Chairman of the Australia Day Committee and was the Chairman of ‘Australia Remembers’ (Vic), the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of World War II. He was also a Committee member of the Moonee Valley Racing Club from 1997 until 2009.
He was a member of the Council of the Australian War Memorial for five years until 2000, and was a member of the Committee for The Centenary of Federation (Vic) from 1998 to 2000.
He is a Foundation Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fellow of The Australian Institute of Management and an Associate Fellow of The Australian Human Resources Institute.
In 2002 he was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (A.O.) for service to business and the community, and in 2003 he was awarded the Centenary Medal. In 2016, Tony was made a Companion of the Order of Australia (AC).
