The Prince’s Trust Australia has appointed John Landerer CBE AM as its new Chairman. John replaced chair Margaret Jackson AC, who stepped down from the organisation’s Board on 30 June.
Chief Executive Janine Kirk AM said: “It has been a real privilege to work with Margaret over the last five years. She has shown outstanding commitment to The Prince’s Trust Australia and has been integral to our success to date.”
Margaret served as a Founding Trustee of Prince’s Trust Australia (formerly Prince’s Charities Australia) from 2013 – 2016 before embarking as Chairman in 2016.
Incoming Chair John Landerer CBE AM is the Founder of Landerer & Company, a law firm specialising in commerce, real estate and litigation. John has served as the Chairman of the Endocrinology and Diabetes Research Foundation, as a board member of the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children and the Garvan Foundation, as the President of the Sydney Jewish Museum, and as a Chairman and Director of various public and private companies.
John remarks: “It’s an exciting time for The Prince’s Trust Australia, now in its fifth year. I am honoured to accept the position and look forward to working with our dedicated Board, staff, partners and supporters over the coming months.”
