Mr John Landerer CBE AM, Chairman of The Prince’s Trust Australia, is delighted to announce the appointment of four new board members. They will join current serving members Deputy Chairman Dominic Richards, Dame Martina Milburn DCVO CBE and Holly Ransom on the board.
The board will now be joined by Hon Julie Bishop MP, Juliet Rieden, Nyunggai Warren Mundine AO and Shaun Bonétt.
Julie Bishop has served as the Member for Curtin, Western Australia in the House of Representatives since 1998. In 2013, Julie became Australia’s first ever female Minister for Foreign Affairs. Julie also served as Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party from 2007 to 2018.
Juliet Rieden has been a journalist for more than 30 years working between the UK and Australia. Juliet is the Editor-at-Large for The Australian Women’s Weekly where she works on key projects for the magazine, writes the cover stories and main interviews, is the Royal Correspondent and Books Editor. Juliet is also an author with Pan Macmillan Australia.
Nyunggai Warren Mundine AO is a businessman, political strategist and advocate for empowering the First Peoples of Australia to build businesses and sustainable economies. Warren has over 45 years’ experience working in the public, private and community sectors and is a part of numerous Boards. Warren has received recognition for his contribution and commitment to Australia, and in 2016 he was made an Officer of the Order of Australia.
Shaun Bonétt became a lawyer at the age of 21 and practiced as a commercial lawyer in the early and mid-1990’s. He is admitted as a solicitor and barrister to the High Court of Australia. Shaun founded Australian commercial property company, Precision Group, as well as The Heartfelt Foundation, which supports various charities and community needs. Shaun is also a current Patron of The Prince’s Trust Australia.

Chairman John Landerer said he was delighted with the calibre and charitable commitment of the new board members, and looks forward to their contribution to the Trust’s programmes and mission to deliver social impact by transforming lives and building sustainable communities in Australia.
He noted the diverse line up of exceptionally talented and committed members will ensure Prince’s Trust Australia continues to develop programmes that serve our defence members, assist young people into training, education and employment, and builds a sustainable future for our cities.
