Are you interested in learning about traditional building and design at the Prince’s Foundation Summer School in Scotland this July?

Are you interested in traditional architecture, building and or heritage trades? Would you like to learn more about sustainable design and practices for the built environment?

We will be awarding two scholarships (valued at £3,750) to Australian students who are eager learn these skills at the Prince’s Foundation Summer School in Scotland, United Kingdom this July!

What you will learn: Various traditional building skills and crafts like drawing, timber framing, stonemasonry, leaded glasswork, earth building and blacksmithing. The course will consist of lectures, site visits and practical workshops culminating in an intensive design and build exercise.

Location: The Prince’s Foundation headquarters, Dumfries House, Scotland.

Dates: The programme will run for three weeks from the 10th of July - 30th of July 2022.

Requirements: There are no entry requirements for this course and anyone is welcome to apply. The course will particularly benefit architecture and built environment students with an interest in traditional architecture and heritage building. The scholarship covers all tuition and accommodation fees.
