Transitioning ADF members invited to Perth information evening

The Prince’s Charities Australia invites transitioning ADF members interested in starting their own business to attend an information evening on The Prince’s Lead Your Own Business program (PLYOB) on Thursday 28 January.

The information evening will feature a keynote address from Scott Houston, CEO Executive Risk Solutions and former SAS member.

After leaving the battlefields of Afghanistan, Scott applied his military values and experience to Executive Risk Solutions, a risk management venture that provides crisis management, emergency response and specialist security services to organisations which operate in high risk industries.

Executive Risk Solutions now boasts a 110-strong workforce and an international client base, and Scott’s journey demonstrates the success Defence personnel can have in business.

PLYOB is an 18-month program to assist in transition, or recently transitioned ADF members to develop and run their own business. The program is CTAS approved and scholarship opportunities are available.

Join our information evening to hear Scott’s insights into the process of transitioning from Defence into business, and find out about the opportunities available via the PLYOB program.
